Todd Erler
Co-owner, director and Expedition Team leader Todd Erler has more than 15 years experience leading youth and adults in the out-of-doors. Growing up at summer camps helped. His parents were assistant directors at Camp Runoia for Girls, in Belgrade Lakes, Maine, and he spent the first seven summers of his life there. After that he attended Camp Winona for Boys in Bridgton, Maine for seven years. He has spent summers hiking the Appalachian Trail in Maine, canoeing rivers in Australia, working as a trip leader for various summer camps, and being a white water raft guide in Washington State. Todd created and spent four summers directing and leading the Maine Wilderness Adventure program for Camp Birch Rock and Camp Runoia. Todd is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, is a graduate of NOLS, and has received extensive trip-leader training. During the winter Todd lives with his wife, Alice, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, and teaches 5th grade. Click here to email Todd.
